This is our first step towards more inclusive local community. It is awesome that we will start working with young people! Jaunatnes starptautisko programmu aģentūra (JSPA) announced that we got funding of 6944.16 EUR in the project of "Support for initiatives for the inclusion of young people with limited opportunities in society" in the Youth Policy State Program 2022-2024.
During the project from 31st August 2022 to 31st January 2023, we will:
- organize masterclasses for 10 young people with functional disabilities and 5 young people without functional disabilities. During these masterclasses young people will have the opportunity to get to know each other and make friends, as well as to identify their interests, abilities and talents, and to form interest groups for joint long-term activities;
- make a movie together. The theme, scenario, filming process itself will be invented and created by the young people together;
- watch a film together with the young people, their parents and regional social policy makers.
